QuranoshiaAcademy was founded in 2019 by a group of Shia Muslim scholars and educators who had witnessed firsthand the growing crisis facing Muslim families in the West: their children were growing up disconnected from the Quran, the Arabic language, and the beautiful teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Weekend Islamic schools were inconsistent. Local mosques were overstretched. Private tutors were hard to find and even harder to vet. And the available online options were rarely grounded in authentic Shia scholarship. Families in the UK, Germany, Sweden, the USA, Canada, and Australia were telling us the same thing: "We want to raise a Hafiz. We want our children to pray with understanding. We want them to know who Imam Hussain (AS) was โ but we don't know where to start."
So we built QuranoshiaAcademy โ not as a business, but as a service to the Ummah. A place where every Shia Muslim child or adult, regardless of where they live, can access world-class Quranic and Islamic education.
